Seminar on new model of studies was held in Athens at TEI-A on Jun 21st and 22nd with 20 participants from TEI-Athens, University of Nis, University of Bremen and Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
The seminar was organized in two sessions: "Structural changes in curricula, organization of teaching, and management of Educational Institutions at Partners' Institutions", and "Innovation Efforts at the Department of Informatics, TEIA". The first was devoted to joint work on structural changes and discussion on teaching module on Computing study program, while the second demonstrated latest teaching innovations at TEI.
Seminar was followed by additional meetings relevant for implementation of ECTS in Computing curricula. The participants from University of Nis were mostly professors from Computer Science Department Faculty of Electronic Engineering who actively worked on Computing curriculum and ECTS implementation. The participation of the Rector and vice-rector, as well as the participation of the Dean of the Faculty and vice-deans were very important from the point of implementation.
