Symposium on Innovation of Computer Science Curriculum
in Higher Education was held at TEI, Athens on Monday April 21st.
The experiences in teaching of CS courses from
eight different high Education Institutes were presented at Symposium.
The participants from the following institutions took active part
in the Symposium:

3. Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Nis, Serbia
and Montenegro
4. Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of St.
Cyril and Methodius, Skopje, FYR Macedonia
5. Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics, University of Nis, Serbia
and Montenegro
6. Technological Education Institution of Kavala, Greece
7. University of Athens, Greece
8. Technological Education Institution of Thessaloniki, Greece
The academic results of the first project year
were discussed. Representatives from all participating institutions
presented the results in innovations of CS courses. Main problems
in organizing successful CS courses were identified.
Starting results in development of multimedia teaching tools at
beneficiary institutions were presented. Web portal for Software
Engineering Courses, developed at Faculty of Electronic Engineering,
University of Nis, was demonstrated. Portal is available at the

Annual CMT meeting, Athens, April 22nd and 23rd
Annual CMT meeting (Athens, April 22nd and 23rd)
- the work on the project during the first year was analyzed for
each participating institution. Academic contents from main project
events were discussed. Financial matters were considered and also
all details for the second year were agreed. Preparations for the
second report were done.
The travel plan was reorganized and the schedule
for important events in the second year was proposed. We worked
on financial matters, and accepted budget distribution for the second
year.
