The proposed project consists
of four outcomes.
Outcome 1: Reconstruction CS courses in CA, LD, DBS, Cnet,
and IntET. Main efforts of consortium members will be directed towards
reconstruction of current courses, enriching them with new contents
and supplementing Web-based presentations. A brief description of
Outcome 1 is the following.
Activity 1.1. - deals with review of current curricula.
To realize this we plan visits of type East-West.
Activity 1.2. - concentrates on defining syllabuses
for mentioned courses. One workshop will be organized and visits
of type West-East and East-East are planned.
Activity 1.3. - in accordance to the previous activities,
new teaching material for restructured courses will be developed.
Two workshops, one in Nis and one in Skopje will be organized. Visits
of type West-East and East-East are planned.
Outcome 2: New subjects will be involved in order to introduce
new tendencies in development and research of Computer Science study.
A short description of Outcome 2 is the following.
Activity 2.1. - concerns reviewing syllabi of already
existing similar subjects in EU partner country, and defining new
syllabi. In order to accomplish this we plan visits of type East-West.
Activity 2.2. - to facilitate the development of
new teaching material and its implementation we plan the organization
of one workshop and retraining of teaching staff. Visits of type
West-East and East-East will be realized.
Activity 2.3. - for introducing new subjects direct
support both from university and ministry of education of Republic
of Serbia is needed. To achieve this goal we plan visits within
FRY.
Outcome 3: Concentrates on development of new teaching environment
in order to involve more practical skills in student education and
retraining of young teaching staff. A short plan of activities is
the following.
Activity 3.1. - deals with reviewing and establishing
of new teaching methods. To realise this activity visits of types
East-West and East-East are included.
Activity 3.2. - relates to design of new teaching
environment, i.e. contemporary CS educational laboratory, and creation
of appropriate Web-based presentations. Visits of type West-East
and East-East are planned.
Activity 3.3. - in order to form contemporary laboratory
we plan retraining of young teaching staff. Student mobility is
included. Visits of type West-East and East-East are planned.
Outcome 4: - is single activity outcome.
Activity 4.1. - this activity is dedicated to management
of the project and quality assurance. Three annual coordinating
meetings and one mini symposium devoted to quality of retraining,
development and implementation of CS courses will be organized.
