Instructors for the Center were retrained at TEI Athens and Computer Science Department at the University of Alicante . Retraining was twofold, dealing with the preparation of courses, which are based on blended learning methodology, and with technical deployment of e-learning platform. The retrained instructors were the main force in the development of a newly established unit. They selected equipment, installed hardware and software platform including server side software, and deployed e-learning content.
